Artist at HEIRLOOM TATTOO STARTING June 1st

Hi, I’m Sean, and I absolutely adore tattooing, it has given me so much and I hope to do it justice everyday I sit down and get to do the work.
I’ve been tattooing 26 years and I really think I’m getting the hang of it. For nearly a decade, I worked at the world class @wonderlandpdx in Portland before moving to Bend to start my absurdly lovely family about four years ago and loved central Oregon immediately(which is super lucky because my wife is from here and I really don’t have a choice otherwise).
I most often take my cues from Mother Nature, and do my best to capture all the beauty, structure, and detail she provides. Flowers, critters, leaves, twiggy bits, the semi-hidden fractal nature of reality, animal bones, and the like have grown into my visual language, but I also thoroughly enjoy stepping out of that box from time to time. My typical palette is black and lighter black but occasionally I get to throw down a color jam to show these young whippersnappers what’s what.
I’m wildly optimistic and excited to start this new endeavor at Heirloom Tattoo.
